THE BEGINNING


Run Theory was created by Cameron and Shane during a casual training session back in March 2025.

What started as a simple idea between two mates with a shared passion for endurance sport quickly turned into something bigger — a growing community of people showing up consistently and becoming better together.

What began as a free Tuesday run club became a space where runners could train with purpose, challenge themselves, and connect with others doing the same.

The run club will always remain free as part of our commitment to give back to the Rockhampton community and support the local businesses around us.

WHY RUN THEORY

Too often, people train without direction. Sessions become random, progress stalls, and consistency disappears.

Run Theory was created to simplify the process.

Structured sessions. Real coaching. Purpose behind the work.

We believe improvement comes from showing up consistently, training with intent, and surrounding yourself with people who want to improve too.

OUR VISION

At Run Theory, we believe every runner has their own theory - a mindset, a method, a reason for lacing up.

We’re here to bring those theories together and build something bigger: a strong community of runners in Rockhampton, united by a culture of consistency and progress.

Our goal is to raise the standard - not just by running hard, but by showing up for each other, sharing the effort, and improving access to the knowledge and tools that help endurance athletes perform better.
