The Run Theory Squad.
A coached squad. Built on progression.
Launching Friday 31 July.
WHAT IT IS
Not a drop-in run.
It is a training team. A group that trains to the same plan, on the same clock, week after week.
One session. Everyone in it.
Book in to join.
WHO IT’S FOR
Runners who want structure.
If you can run 40 minutes without stopping, you will be right at home.
From people chasing a first goal race through to athletes hunting a PB. The session adapts to the runner, not the other way around. What everyone shares is the want to train with intent and to be pushed by the people next to them.
THE SESSION
Friday, 5:30am.
CQU track.
Arrive 5:20. We start 5:30 sharp and finish by 6:30.
A coached session, start to finish. A proper warm up and running drills built around proper movement and technique, then a main set run to the week's plan on the track, and a cool down together. Every session is led by an Advanced Run Level 2 accredited coach.
Paces and reps are set to where you are. Beginner or seasoned, you are in the same session, working to the same structure, scaled to you.

Friday track sessions are designed, not just run. We work on proper movement and technique through drills, then put it to work in a structured main set built to a plan. You do not leave just more tired, you leave a better runner. They are a step up and focussed on better movement and running.

We train regardless. If a session is ever called off, we will post it on our Instagram and Facebook, @runtheoryrc.
